The Combination of Mobile and Cloud Based Applications is Game Changing

There are a couple of screencasts below showing what is possible when companies change from document centric to data centric, putting their data in the cloud and allowing devices with different form factors (laptops, desktops, tablets and smart phones) to access the data, regardless of their location.

The first video is a high level overview of six applications we are currently developing for Seamless Walls. In this video, we spend just a small amount of time on each individual application and instead concentrate on explaining the overall goal of what we call data centric companies...increasing Communication, Collaboration and Control and doing so in an Asynchronous and Automatic manner.

In the videos that follow, we take a deeper dive into the six individual applications, two of them are designed for mobile and four are designed to be run on the desktop (all of them store/manipulate/create data in the cloud). In addition to discussing how these appliations contribute to the overall goal of increasing Communication, Collaboration and Control in an Asynchronous and Automatic manner, we also talk about how these applications strive to be intuitive, simple to use, provide visual and tactile feedback as to what is going on and present data in such a way as to be able to see the forrest as well as the individual trees.
